Would like to know is this a good idea to invest in an RV or just pay for the hotels when we do go out. The children are young and we are looking to the years to come. Do you think RVing is a good idea.

RV'ing can be a lot of fun, but I would keep in mind the cost of gas right now. My parents travel a lot in their RV, but theirs takes Diesel fuel and this year...that's almost 5 bucks a gallon. And I'm sure you can imagine just how gas efficient they are lol.
I recently planned a trip, and found out after all the calculations, it was cheaper to fly than drive. Pretty scary.....

you dont have to purchase rvs can be rented and there is no better way to save money then to take a camper the price per night will save you 50-80 a night, not to mention that being able to provide meals in will save you huge, the campgrounds almost always have pools or lakes and aolt of them offer summer activities on daily bases
